Jean-Luc is a financial and card services strategy expert with three decades of experience in marketing, sales and customer service management experience.

During his 16-year stint as general manager at American Express Benelux, he led his team to phenomenal business growth; he accredits this success to his first-rate team, talent development skills and the deployment of a customer-centric strategy. For the last 10 years, Jean has also been lending his experience as Board member and Chairman for two new ventures.

Now, as a business consultant, founder of STRAT&GO Consulting Services and Futurelab associate, Jean is leveraging his past experience for other financial services brands exploring customer-centric growth and transformation strategies.

Jean-Luc is now managing - as CEO - the American Express business in Belgium and Luxemburg through a transition phase from the previous joint venture structure with BNP Paribas Fortis to a subsidiary fully owned by American Express .
